About the Program

Schools in ESU 9 contract for assessment services which are required to identify, diagnose and verify students with disabilities. In addition to qualifying students for special education, this service provides information about students’ abilities as well as recommendations for teaching strategies for special education personnel and classroom teachers. School psychologists provide assessment services for children Birth to 21 years of age.

Special Education 504-IEP Team Guidance/Compliance-SPED Law Support, Assessment Intervention Recommendations; School Based Mental Health-Behavior consultation, one on one education, group skills training, integration into PBIS, student assistance, support school family
Tier 3 Intensive Intervention; Tier 2 Intervention; Tier 1 Core Instruction
